Faro
Hospitality
La Patrona Polo Club — San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico
Project Overview
Faro is a landscape light installation conceived as a guiding field at the main entrance of the polo club.
Composed of modular luminous units distributed across the lawn, the piece establishes a rhythmic sequence that accompanies visitors along the arrival path. Rather than functioning as isolated fixtures, the elements operate collectively — defining direction, tempo, and spatial orientation.
The installation transforms the threshold into a luminous landscape.
Concept
Each module (70 × 35 × 35 cm) is positioned according to the Fibonacci sequence, generating a subtle mathematical order within the open field.
This proportional distribution introduces natural rhythm and progressive expansion — guiding movement intuitively without imposing a rigid axis.
The result is not a single focal object, but a distributed beacon system: a constellation of lights marking entry and arrival.
Structure
Modular luminous units (70 × 35 × 35 cm)
Exterior-rated integrated LED system
Ground-anchored installation
Weather-resistant materials
Designed for durability within outdoor hospitality and landscape environments.
Technical Data
Typology: Exterior landscape light installation
Configuration: Fibonacci-based spatial distribution
Location: Entrance lawn / arrival path
Dimensions per module: 70 × 35 × 35 cm
Installation Method: Ground-integrated anchoring
Lighting Temperature: 2700ºK
Spatial Integration
Positioned along the primary access route, Faro operates as a guiding infrastructure rather than decorative lighting.
At dusk, the sequence becomes increasingly perceptible, reinforcing directionality and enhancing the ceremonial quality of arrival.
By day, the sculptural geometry maintains a subtle presence within the landscape.
By night, the installation defines identity.
